| We were watching the Duggars on TLC last night, and there was a commercial for Plan B in the middle. I'm sure the Duggars would be horrified to hear that. | | |
| The Stars are down 0-3 to the Red Wings.
Looks like my playoff beard is in jeopardy!

| Sign of the times?
"If five of 437 children in the Yearning For Zion compound were pregnant or have
babies, that is better than the underage pregnancy rate in the rest of
Schleicher County, according to state statistics. In other words, 14-year-old girls might be less likely to get pregnant inside the YFZ than in Eldorado." Source: http://www.star-telegram.com/metro_news/story/598852.html

| Great: Getting a tax stimulus.
Also great: discovering Publication 600 and filing 1040-X to claim state / local sales taxes for 2006. (The IRS does not go out of their way to educate taxpayers on late breaking legislation).
Not so great: spending five hours trying to decipher tax form instructions. The graduate engineering degree does nothing.

| It is, apparently, not St. Patrick's Day. Apparently this silly little thing called "Easter" trumps Saint's days in the Catholic calendar.
Sorry everyone! Maybe next year.
